Japanese Type 94 – 18.1″/45 Gun

Yamato’s massive 18.1″ guns are seen during her construction with one of the guns fully elevated.

The Japanese 18.1″/45 guns were the largest naval guns ever mounted afloat on the heaviest battleships ever constructed, the Yamato-class.
